How we handle website and inquiry data
Dawn Sourcing (GD TRADE, Yiwu, China) collects as little as it needs to answer inquiries and to learn which ads, emails and videos bring buyers to this site. We also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (see below). Last updated October 12, 2026.
When you visit the site
This site records, on our own server:
- which pages you open and when;
- what brought you here — the ad, email, video or social link you clicked (marked by a tracking code in that link), or the domain of the site that linked to us;
- your country, taken from your connection when the page loads (we do not store your IP address), and whether you use a phone or a computer;
- clicks on buttons that lead to a quote, and whether you open our email, WhatsApp or WeChat links;
- if you arrived from a Google ad, the click ID Google adds to the link (gclid), kept for 90 days and saved with an inquiry if you send one, so we can tell which ads lead to inquiries.
To tie those together, your browser keeps a random visit ID that is deleted when you close the tab, and remembers for 30 days which link first brought you here. A first-party cookie (ds_src) keeps, for 90 days, how your first visit arrived: the ad or link tags in the address (utm_*, and Google Ads click IDs such as gclid), the first page you opened, the page that referred you, and the time. When you send a form, these are saved with your inquiry. None of these contains your name, email or anything else that identifies you. You can clear both by clearing this site's data in your browser.
If you visit from the EU, the EEA or the UK, we ask first. Until you press Accept, nothing is kept after you close the tab, Google Analytics does not load and no advertising pixel loads. Your answer is stored in your browser so we do not ask again; to change it, clear this site's data and choose again.
When you send an inquiry
The form sends us what you type — name, email, company, product details — together with how you found us and the pages you viewed in that visit. It is stored in our database and emailed to our inbox so we can reply. We use it only to answer your inquiry, quote and produce your order, and to see which channels bring real buyers. We do not sell it or share it, except with the factory making your product, and only the product details it needs.
If you use the tech pack builder, what you enter stays in your browser until you enter your email (to see the full tech pack, get the PDF or ask for a quote); then your email and the tech pack, without photos, are sent to us and handled the same way, and the PDF is emailed to that address. If you use the tech pack builder, what you enter stays in your browser until you enter your email (to see the full tech pack, download it or ask for a quote); then your email and the tech pack, without photos, are sent to us and handled the same way. If you use the tech pack builder, what you enter stays in your browser until you press send; then the tech pack is sent with your request and handled the same way. If you email, WhatsApp or WeChat us directly, those messages are handled in those services under their own terms.
When you ask for our OEM roadmap
If you give us your email to receive our OEM roadmap, we use that email only to send you the roadmap and to follow up about it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply STOP to stop all further emails. If you ask, we delete your email address from our records.
Who processes it
The site and its database run on Cloudflare, which handles your connection to deliver the pages. Inquiry emails arrive in a Google (Gmail) inbox. Emails we send from the site, such as the tech pack PDF, go out through Mailgun, which handles your email address only to deliver them. We use Google Analytics to count visits, where they come from, clicks on quote buttons and whether a form was started or sent; it sets cookies (_ga) and Google processes that data under its own terms. We do not send Google your name, email or what you type in a form. We use the Google Ads tag to measure which ads lead to inquiries: when a form is sent successfully, it tells Google Ads that a conversion happened, with no name, email or form content. It may set Google advertising cookies. We do not use other advertising pixels.
Your choices
